Client Background

Our client, a 20-year-old with 2 years of experience in their field, had dreams of pursuing a career in Canada. With their eyes set on an LMIA-based work permit, they applied from India, hoping to start a new chapter in their life and contribute to the Canadian workforce.

Work Permit Application

We applied for the LMIA-based work permit of the applicant while the applicant was outside Canada. WP was for a Teer 5 position in Canada. Application was filed in Aug 2023.

Initial Setback

Unfortunately, their application hit a roadblock when it was refused, with the officer expressing doubts about their ability to perform the duties required in Canada. This news came as a devastating blow to our client, who had been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to work in Canada.

A Ray of Hope: Reconsideration Request

Despite the initial setback, we at Balram's Immigration Consultancy remained steadfast in our belief that our client had the skills and potential to succeed in Canada. We advised them to request a reconsideration of the decision, highlighting the fact that the LMIA did not require any prior experience for this particular Tier 5 position.

Triumph Through Persistence

Our client agreed to pursue the reconsideration, and we wasted no time in preparing a detailed rationale to support our case. We emphasized our client's qualifications, their eagerness to contribute, and the lack of a requirement for prior experience in the LMIA.

A Happy Ending

Our efforts paid off when, just 8 days after submitting the reconsideration request in the first week of December 2023, we received the news we had been hoping for. IRCC had reconsidered their initial decision and approved our client's application!

Conclusion

This success story is a testament to the power of persistence and belief. Despite facing an initial setback, our client's determination, coupled with our unwavering support, led to a favorable outcome. We are immensely proud to have been a part of our client's journey and look forward to helping more individuals achieve their Canadian immigration goals.
